Reflection, Prayer, and Inspiration For An Everyday Encounter - A 30 Day Devotional
How To Use This Devotional
As I finish editing these pages, adding prayers and questions for reflection, I find myself reflecting on the season of my life that gave birth to these words. I’m wondering how it took me so long, but also hear the Lord saying it took as long as it needed to. He let me set these words, these memories down. He gave me the grace to enjoy the beauty that He was cultivating around me in my current season. The community, love, newness of life, growth, and maturation in vocation all blooming to fruition. In all of these blessings and laboring moments, I had time to reflect as I finished these pages. Putting this together feels like adding a bookend to this chapter in my life. A chapter that was filled with purification, conversion, and pruning. This season is not my whole story, but a part of my growth, a part of Our love story. These words were a gift to me from the Lord. An invitation to write the next chapter, to live fully in this moment, and to dream with Him for all that is to come. As I close these pages, I add prayers and reflective questions, but mostly I pour out my plea for you and for me to keep preserving in love for the Lord. These words were a gift to me for the Lord, and I pray they are a gift to you too.
So, on how to use this devotional, well, it is up to you. These words are a gift, these prayers a love letter, and the questions a tool for growth. Take the parts that stick as little gold coins you can use in your own life. Leave what doesn’t. Take a page a day, a week, or a month. Read it in the morning, evening, or on your lunch break. Write all over it or reflect in your heart. Take it on vacation or to the grocery store checkout line. This is a tool, a gift. Like everything that aids us in our spiritual life, it is made to do one thing - invite you deeper into prayer with your Father. That is my prayer for these pages. I pray that you come to know the One who loves you the most by encountering Him everyday, in your everyday ordinary life that He makes extraordinary through an intimate Love.
