thank you, motherhood.
I’m not sure why but motherhood has been heavy on my mind and heart this year.. maybe it’s just my age, maybe it’s the beautiful and unbelievably strong women I see in this world, maybe it’s the compassion and selflessness of the women in my life.. the women mothering our youth boldly in faith, women carrying and birthing babies amidst a pandemic.. the spiritual mothers that carried me in their arms this year, the holy women inspiring me to walk boldly in my own faith, teaching me courageous kindness by their witness and example..
motherhood is a vocation that has evolved so vibrantly before my eyes.. I believe there are so many seasons of mothering, so many avenues of mothering.. us women have a feminine genius that needs to be felt, needs to be heard, needs to be shared with children, with youth, with other women.. with boys and men..
we speak life, we carry life, we nurture LIFE.. bring your motherly light into the lives of all those you encounter..
happy mother’s day to all the beautiful, courageous, and compassionate women.. you make the world go round and you inspire me beyond comprehension.. 🤍
